By accessing or using RankCause ("the Service," "we," "us," or "our"), you ("User," "you") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not access or use the Service.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and RankCause regarding your use of the Service.
To use the Service, you must create an account by providing a valid email address and password. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. By creating an account, you represent that all information you provide is accurate and complete.

We recommend using a strong, unique password. We are not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorized access to your account due to your failure to protect your credentials.
Each account is for a single user or organization. You may not share your login credentials with others. Team access features (multiple seats) are available on Growth, Pro, and Enterprise plans.
RankCause provides tools for website SEO monitoring, including but not limited to: website crawling and technical SEO analysis, keyword ranking tracking, page change monitoring, AI/GEO visibility tracking, competitor analysis, and reporting.
We aim for 99.5% uptime, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance. Unplanned outages will be communicated via our status page.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature of the Service at any time with reasonable notice. We will not discontinue core features without at least 30 days notice to paid subscribers.
Each subscription plan has defined limits (domains, pages per crawl, reports, etc.). These limits are described on the Pricing page and in your account settings. We reserve the right to enforce these limits technically.
Subscription prices are listed on our Pricing page. All prices are in US dollars unless otherwise stated. Prices are exclusive of applicable taxes.
Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance. Your billing date is the date you first subscribed to a paid plan.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless you cancel before the renewal date. You can cancel at any time via the billing portal accessible from your account settings.
We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee for new paid subscriptions. If you are unsatisfied within 7 days of your first paid charge, contact us for a full refund. After 7 days, all charges are non-refundable. Upgrades and downgrades are prorated — you will receive credit or be charged the difference for the remainder of your billing cycle.
If a payment fails, we will attempt to retry the charge. You will receive email notifications about failed payments. If payment is not resolved within 7 days, your account will be downgraded to a free/suspended state until payment is updated.
You are responsible for any applicable taxes. Where required by law, we will collect and remit taxes on your behalf.
We may change subscription prices with at least 30 days notice. Price changes will not affect your current billing period — they will take effect at your next renewal.
New users receive a 48-hour free trial with access to the SEO dashboards. AI / GEO credits and the internal linker are not included in the trial and unlock only upon upgrading to a paid plan. No credit card is required to start a trial.
After the trial period:
One free trial per person. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent this limit is a violation of these Terms and may result in account termination.
You may use RankCause to monitor and analyze websites that you own, have explicit permission to analyze, or that are publicly accessible for the purpose of legitimate SEO research and competitive analysis.

You are responsible for ensuring that websites you add to RankCause for crawling are ones you have the right to crawl. We are not liable for any claims arising from your crawling of third-party websites.
The Service, including its software, design, algorithms, and content, is owned by RankCause and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right, title, or interest in the Service beyond the limited right to use it as described herein.
If you submit suggestions, feature requests, or feedback about the Service, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to use that feedback in any way without compensation to you.
You may not use our name, logo, or trademarks without prior written consent, except to accurately describe your use of the Service (e.g., "Powered by RankCause").
You retain full ownership of all data you input into the Service, including domain configurations, custom alerts, and any content you create. We do not claim ownership of your data.
By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process, store, and analyze your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. We do not use your data to provide services to other customers or for any purpose beyond your service delivery.
You can export your data in CSV or JSON format at any time from the Reports section. We support data portability.
Upon account termination, you have 30 days to export your data. After that period, data will be permanently deleted except where retention is required by law. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
The Service integrates with third-party services including Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and Stripe. Your use of these integrations is subject to those companies' respective terms and privacy policies:
We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of third-party services. Loss of access to third-party services (e.g., Google revoking API access) does not entitle you to a refund.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
SEO data (rankings, traffic, crawl results) is provided for informational purposes only. Search engine rankings are determined by search engines outside our control and are subject to constant change. We are not responsible for any business decisions you make based on data provided by the Service.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SEO INTELLIGENCE AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:
IN NO EVENT WILL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) $100 USD.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitations of liability. In such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.
You may terminate your account at any time by going to Settings → Account → Delete Account, or by contacting us. Termination takes effect immediately. Paid subscriptions are not refunded upon early termination except as described in the Refunds section.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you:
For serious violations, termination may be immediate without notice. For other violations, we will typically provide a warning and opportunity to remedy the issue before terminating.
Upon termination, your right to access the Service ceases immediately. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property rights, disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability) will survive.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by:
If you disagree with the updated Terms, you may terminate your account before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which RankCause operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
We prefer to resolve disputes informally. Before initiating any formal proceedings, please contact us at legal@seointelligence.app and give us 30 days to resolve the issue.
If informal resolution fails, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration rather than in court, except where prohibited by law or for claims that qualify for small claims court.
You agree that any dispute resolution will be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action.
